Who you're buying from

UCAT Engine is operated by Ade Whetton, sole trader, United Kingdom. Contact: ade.whetton@phwltd.com. UCAT® is a registered mark of the UCAT Consortium; this product is independent and not affiliated with, or endorsed by, the UCAT Consortium or Pearson VUE.

What you're buying

A digital training system ("the Engine"): The Method (£79) — access to the web app; or The System (£149) — the app plus the downloadable methodology pack and a written school-strategy report. One-off payment. No subscription. Nothing auto-renews. Access runs to your stated test date plus 30 days (or 6 months from purchase if you don't set a test date, whichever is longer).

Refunds

• 14-day no-quibble refund: tell us within 14 days of purchase and we refund in full. No forms, no interrogation — one email.
• Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 are unaffected. By accessing the digital content immediately you consent to supply within the 14-day cancellation period — our no-quibble refund is more generous than the statutory position anyway.
• Refunds go back to the original payment method via Stripe, normally within 5–10 working days.

Honest limits

• We guarantee no score, interview, or offer — nobody honestly can. Published research puts average test-prep effects as modest; the Engine is built on the components with the best evidence (technique instruction, structured preparation, anxiety management).
• University thresholds and policies shown in the Engine are last-cycle actuals or published policy, with sources; universities set new figures each cycle. Always verify against the university's own pages before UCAS decisions.
• The Engine complements the official UCAT practice materials; it does not reproduce or redistribute them.

Fair use

One purchase = one candidate. Don't share access codes or resell the materials. We can withdraw access (with a refund at our discretion) for abuse.

Privacy — the short version

• Your training data (plans, drills, errors, mock scores) lives in your browser on your device. It is not sent to our servers. Export or delete it any time in Settings. If you clear your browser data, it's gone — export backups.
• What we hold: your email address (if you give it) for the purpose you gave it for, and your payment record. Card details are held by Stripe, never by us.
• We don't sell data, run tracking ads, or use third-party analytics cookies.
• To have your email deleted: one message to the address above. Data controller: Ade Whetton (UK GDPR).

Boring but necessary

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If any clause is unenforceable, the rest stand. We may update these terms for future purchases; the version you bought under applies to you.
